ACTUAL FUN RUN
 

  • Thirty (30) minutes before the actual Philippine Run, the organizers shall ask the participants to convene at the starting line for the announcement of rules and warm up exercises
  • On the cue of a start shot, the starting line rope shall be released to indicate the start of the Philippine Run.
  • Marshals shall guide the participants on the route of the Philippine Run.
  • Four water refilling stations will be available on the 2nd, 4th, and 7th kilometer of the route.
  • Participants who will be able to arrive/pass/finish the 2nd, 4th, and 7th kilometer run shall be given a kilometer indicator lace.
  • Kilometer Indicator Lace:
    1. RED - KKK
    2. BLUE - AGUINALDO
    3. YELLOW - KALAYAAN
  • Paramedics will be on stand-by at 2nd, 4th, and 7th kilometer of the route.
  • A Four (4) “FREE RIDES” are available on the 2nd, 4th, and 7th kilometer run, in case, participants opted to stop running. The “CANNOT RUN PEOPLE” will be carried back to the stage area.
  • A SWEEPER shall pick-up the runners who cannot run anymore. It will leave the starting point 15 minutes after the start of the run. The “CANNOT RUN PEOPLE” will be carried back to the stage area.
  • As you cross the finish line, move to the chute corresponding to you race category (KKK, AGUINALDO or KALAYAAN).  Race marshals will remove the tags from your race bib.  Move as quickly as possible as courtesy to the other runners entering the chute
  • Protests or complaints related to the race will be accepted ONLY in written form.  The race organizers reserve the right to reject, disqualify or withdraw any race participant before or during the actual race.  The organizer's decision shall be final
  • Portalets will be available at the race venue
  • All the participants will be given a certificate of participation. 
  • The most number of participants (schools, company or organizations) will be awarded in the program after the Philippine Run
  • The most unique nationalist costume will be awarded
  • Novelty awards shall also be given; they will also receive medals, certificate of participation and loot bags

JUDGING THE WINNERS
 

  • For the first 3 participants of every category (KKK, AGUINALDO and KALAYAAN) who will cross the end line, they will be determined through the time record they made with the help panel judges and marshals.
  • For novelty awardees, they will be determined through registration and a set of judges.

RULES AND REGULATIONS:
  1. The spirit of friendly competition should apply throughout each of the races. Any non-sportsman-like conduct constitutes grounds for immediate disqualification of you or your team.
  2. Medical team will determine the condition of each runner.
  3. Competitors must strictly obey all directions and instructions by race marshal.
  • No form of locomotion other than running or walking is allowed.
  • No individual support vehicles or escort runners are allowed.
  • Runners are expected to follow the directions of all course marshals and race officials.
  • If you withdraw from the race, please notify the timing team at the finish line.

2. They will award prizes for the school, company, and/or organization that will have the most number of participants--"Largest Group Award."

hi aynoks! i truly understand your sentiments. sometimes, we have to let go of the things we want, to give way to the thing we need. there will always be next runs so no worries... ^_^
