The Sweet Life of a Diabetic Runner: Greenfield City Clean Air Run 2011

Founded in 1961, Greenfield Development Corporation began as a landholding company, with vast tracts of land in its portfolio. Thousands of hectares in various strategic areas, from the north as far as Bataan and to the south up to Calamba, has allowed Greenfield to emerge as one of the leading developers in the country today. Developments include Residential, Commercial, Leisure, Retail, Industrial, and Infrastructure projects.

Some of what they own are the EDSA MRT, Greenfield City Mall in EDSA Central, Soho Central Condominium and the famous Paseo de Sta. Rosa Laguna.

So, for the third time, they are organizing a run together with RunRio Inc., but this time with the advocacy of promoting clean air to the community.

“Greenfield City Clean Air Run”, the 2nd Leg of the RunRio Series Manila will be held on May 29, 2011 at Greenfield City, Paseo de Sta. Rosa. This event features 4 race categories: 500m dash (for children 5 to 12 years old), 5km,10km and 21km.

Online registration period is from April 29 to May 15, 2011 only. Delivery of race kits will start on May 6, 2011.

ASSEMBLY AND GUN START TIMES

Security and safety concerns remain a top priority in all Runrio races, therefore to manage the crowded lanes we will implement starting time in waves.

Correction on the Gun Start Times:

500m / 5:55 AM

5km / 5:45 AM

10km / 5:35 AM

21km / 4:45 AM

(This adjustments were made because of the very scorching hot weather, so that we can start earlier for the benefit of our dear runners)

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

Registration may end earlier than announced deadline therefore, race kits may run out before May 22, 2011.
A valid ID must be presented upon registration. For group registration, a photocopy of any valid ID must be presented by the representative.
Singlet size availability will be on a first come first served basis.
A disposable timing device will be used by all participants during the race.
Finisher’s kits will be given upon finishing the race.
